1 Corinthians 12:12-13 – “The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ. For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body – whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free – and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.”
UICM exists not only to impact the youth in this community, but to empower the body of Christ everywhere. We recognize that in our infancy it was (and is) the power of Christ that unified independent churches in an effort to reach the youth in this community together. As individuals, we have our independence, opinions, thoughts, feelings, manner of doing things, and most importantly, our faith. All uniquely ours, yet all uniquely intertwined together to form the Body of Christ for two purposes: to glorify our Creator, and to expand the kingdom of Christ here on earth.
Our partnership with local and regional churches is synonymous with our name and consistent with Christ’s desire for the Church. To not be separated by doctrinal or theological interpretation, but unified on the foundation of the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ. If you are interested in becoming a partnering church, contact Troy Williams (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more information.
